Dr. Dow specializes in sports medicine, concussion management and non-surgical orthopedics. He has taken care of sports teams at the high school, college and professional levels. Dr. Dow is passionate about treating athletes of all ages as well as treating musculoskeletal injuries and ailments. He also loves working with his patients to help them live the most active and healthy lives possible.
Dr. Dow was born in Texas and spent part of his childhood growing up in Alaska. He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of North Texas, where he played goalie for their ice hockey team. He then earned his medical degree in Fort Worth, Texas at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.
He completed his Family Medicine residency at Methodist Charlton in Dallas, Texas where he was a chief resident. Dr. Dow went on to complete a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Advocate Lutheran in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Dow is board certified in both Sports Medicine and Family Medicine.
Dr. Dow enjoys playing ice hockey, fishing, skiing and spending time outdoors with his wife and two dogs.
