Martin is currently the musher with the most consecutive Iditarod finishes, 33 races completed in a row, 36 total finishes. Buser was inducted into the Iditarod Hall of Fame in 2017 and is a four-time Iditarod champion winning the race in 1992, 1994, 1997, and 2002.
